Raonsecure said on the 7th that its Blockchain-based integrated identity and credential authentication platform, "OmniOne Digital ID," received Grade 1 in the nationally accredited Good Software (GS) quality certification from the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA).
The GS certification is a nationally accredited software quality certification system operated based on a notice from the Ministry of Science and ICT under the Software Promotion Act. It comprehensively evaluates functional suitability, performance efficiency, security, and reliability in a test environment similar to an actual operating environment. Among these, Grade 1 is the highest rating, given to products that have passed rigorous testing and evaluation based on ISO/IEC international standards.
OmniOne Digital ID is a digital identity authentication platform that securely stores identity and credential information issued to mobile devices and verifies the authenticity and validity of submitted information in real time. Users can issue, store, and submit identity and credential information on mobile, and verification agencies can confirm the authenticity and validity of the information in real time. By replacing paper certificates or physical card-based authentication procedures, it reduces the risk of forgery and alteration and improves user convenience.
The platform applies decentralized identity (DID) technology to support users in directly managing their identity and credential information. Users can selectively submit only the necessary information, strengthening privacy protection and security.
Raonsecure said OmniOne Digital ID has been applied to the national mobile ID issuance system serving about 45 million people in Korea, and has also been used in digital identity pilot projects in Indonesia and Costa Rica. In addition, it is used in various fields, including DID-based International Student Identity Card issuance at more than 180 universities in Korea, Chung-Ang University digital student IDs, and Kukkiwon poom/dan certificates.
Lee Jeong-a, CEO of Raonsecure, said, "The value of digital authentication in the Web3 era grows when an individual's identity, credentials, and permissions are proven safely and connected to various services," and added, "We will continue to focus on technology development to expand a trust infrastructure that spans public, private, and everyday services."
