LG Electronics is accelerating its push into the local market by opening a new experience space for the ultra-premium built-in appliance brand "SKS" in Boston.
LG Electronics said it recently opened the "SKS Technicurean Center" in Boston, Massachusetts, together with premium appliance retailer Yale Appliance. This is the fourth SKS customer experience space LG Electronics has set up in the United States, following Napa Valley in California, New Jersey, and Chicago.
Boston is home to major universities, including Harvard University and MIT, and is considered a region with a strong base in advanced industries such as AI, robotics, and biotech. Through this showroom, LG Electronics plans to broaden its touchpoints not only with general consumers but also with B2B customers such as builders and designers.
The center measures 185㎡ and is arranged to resemble an actual high-end residential space rather than a simple product display. In collaboration with custom kitchen furniture maker Wegner Cabinetry, LX Hausys, and Newport Brass, it presents a premium kitchen space.
Visitors can see SKS's design and functions firsthand through cooking demonstrations and product trials. Products on display include a pro range that combines gas, induction, and sous vide functions; an induction pro range equipped with steam, convection, and air-fry functions; dual-compressor refrigerators; and built-in wine cellars.
