SOOP's digital advertising affiliate PlayD is moving to strengthen its artificial intelligence (AI)-based marketing business.
SOOP said on the 29th that PlayD will upgrade its AI advertising production and operation system and expand into Generative AI search optimization (GEO).
Since its founding in 2010, PlayD has built expertise in performance advertising and online commerce advertising as a digital advertising corporations. After listing on KOSDAQ in 2020, it has managed about 500 billion won in annual ads, accumulating advertising data and performance analysis capabilities.
This year, PlayD created a dedicated AI organization, the "AX Unit," and is working to streamline ad operations and develop new AI services. It is also advancing the AI-based marketing platform "All it (Allit)" to build a system that supports the entire process from production to operation in an integrated way.
Allit offers the ad copy generation service "Ato," the image generation solution "Craypas," and the video generation service "Panorama." Through this, it supports processes such as writing text-based ad copy, creating images, and producing short-form videos with AI.
The Generative AI search optimization GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) business is also expanding. PlayD launched the GEO diagnostic service "SpAIder" in April and is analyzing corporations and brands' AI search exposure to provide optimization strategies. To date, it has conducted diagnostics for 36 advertisers and 46 sites.
PlayD CEO Cho Myeong-jin said, "Use of Generative AI is rapidly expanding across the advertising industry," and added, "We will continue to strengthen AI-based marketing capabilities from automated ad production to Generative AI search optimization to deliver new value to advertisers."
