Nexus said on the 26th that it passed the follow-up audits for ISO/IEC 27001 (information security management system) and ISO/IEC 27701 (privacy information management system), international standards in information security and privacy protection, and obtained certification for ISO/IEC 42001, the international standard for artificial intelligence management systems.
Nexus said the certifications reaffirm that it has been stably maintaining and advancing the information security and privacy protection infrastructure established last year. It also strengthened its integrated risk management capabilities by putting in place an AI management system that meets international standards.
The newly obtained ISO/IEC 42001 is a global standard for managing risks that arise across the entire lifecycle of AI systems—from development to deployment and operation—and for providing safe and ethical AI services. The security certifications held by Nexus are used not only to respond to global privacy regulations such as the European Union's GDPR, but also as key criteria for proactively responding to the rapidly changing global AI risk environment.
Nexus is introducing a companywide artificial intelligence transformation (AI Transformation, AX) that integrates AI across its services and work environment. Starting with the AI battle platform "Cloroyal," it is building an "agent gaming" ecosystem in which AI agents act as both players and economic actors. In addition, it is realizing AX in corporate operations by establishing a system in which non-development teams use AI to build, manage, and modify the company's official website in real time.
Jang Hyun-kuk, CEO of Nexus, said, "AI transformation has become a factor that determines corporations' fundamental competitiveness," adding, "Nexus is leading innovative and stable AX by adding an AI management system to data protection capabilities at the level of international standards."
