Artificial intelligence (AI) security and authentication platform corporations Raonsecure will expand the identity and competency verification system in education to a digital platform.
Raonsecure said on the 22nd that it signed a business agreement with the Beautiful School Movement Headquarters and Future&More to promote a joint project for digital authentication in elementary, middle and high school education.
The core of the agreement is to convert students' identities and educational activity histories at elementary, middle and high schools nationwide into a highly reliable digital authentication system. Based on Raonsecure's "OmniOne Badge" and "OmniOne Digital ID," the plan is to integrate and manage each student's on- and off-campus activities and growth process as digital data.
Until now, student activities in schools have taken diverse forms, such as on-campus projects, volunteer work, certification acquisition, and participation in clubs and career exploration, but critics have noted that records are dispersed across individual documents or systems, making them hard to use when needed.
To address these issues, the three companies plan to integrate and accumulate students' achievements and activity histories based on digital badges and digital IDs, laying the groundwork to verify them reliably during college preparation or external activities.
In particular, the collaboration makes it possible to digitally record even each student's experiences and growth context that were hard to capture with existing report cards or official certificates alone. As a result, it becomes feasible to issue and accumulate in badge form a range of achievements, such as problem-solving skills shown in school projects, community experience gained through volunteer work, and activities linked to the local community. Schools can design more flexible, student-tailored education programs, and students can manage and use their growth process as a single digital portfolio.
The project also draws attention as a model for spreading digital authentication in education that combines technology, on-the-ground networks, and execution capabilities. By adding the nationwide school network of the Beautiful School Movement Headquarters and the business design and development capabilities of Future&More to Raonsecure's digital authentication platform technology, a digital trust infrastructure applicable to elementary, middle and high school settings is expected to be established.
Raonsecure plans to expand its university-centered, employment and recruitment-linked digital authentication model into the identity and competency verification domain for elementary, middle and high schools. The idea is to convert the diverse activities and achievements students accumulate during school life into a trustworthy digital asset, contributing to digital adoption in education and the establishment of a student-tailored growth management system.
Kim Chang-su, head of the service business division at Raonsecure, said, "This project will be a starting point for recording students' identities and growth experiences on a Web3-based trust infrastructure and connecting them to actual use," adding, "We will continue to help build an educational environment where each student's diverse competencies are recognized fairly and with high credibility through Web3 technology."
