Samsung Electronics has built a powerful ecosystem through a vast scale of customer touchpoints and open partnerships, based on a range of devices and platforms from semiconductors to phones, wearables, appliances, and TVs.
In particular, within an open collaborative ecosystem with a range of partners such as Xealth, Generation Lab, and SiPhox Health, the company is implementing "Connected Care" by linking Samsung's devices with each company's differentiated solutions.
Connected Care is Samsung Electronics' healthcare vision to support more people in healthy, active lives through proactive management that prevents illness in advance, rather than post-treatment after disease occurs, based on a connected ecosystem.

Each CEO on the panel cited Samsung Electronics' strong commitment to the ecosystem and partnerships it has built as a strength. CEO Alina Su said, "It was impressive how quickly Samsung seeks to execute in collaboration with partners," adding, "When combined with Samsung devices people use every day, we can bring innovation to people's lives more quickly."
CEO Michael Dubrovsky also said, "The device ecosystem Samsung has built is already deeply embedded in people's daily lives," explaining, "SiPhox will add the tool of 'diagnostics' to enable people to experience what has been difficult to experience outside hospitals."
Generation Lab offers a solution that makes it easy to check biological age at home and proactively manage aging, while SiPhox Health provides a service that enables proactive health management through blood tests in each household.
The discussion also introduced the Samsung Health SDK Suite, which underpins Samsung Electronics' open healthcare ecosystem.
By using the Samsung Health SDK Suite, a software development tool, developers can create innovative healthcare services leveraging advanced sensor technology and a health platform. Samsung Electronics' proprietary security solution Knox, which safely protects sensitive information, was also introduced. Applied across a variety of devices from mobile to appliances and TVs, Knox provides a foundation that lets users confidently use health management solutions.
Looking five years ahead to the future of AI-era healthcare, Park said, "An AI-based connected ecosystem will become a companion in daily life that knows what I need and when, and it will help achieve personal health goals."
