SOOP said on the 19th that it rolled out an update to strengthen conversation quality and content recommendation features for its artificial intelligence (AI) video assistant service "SOOPi."
SOOPi is an AI video assistant service trained on SOOP's video data, learning a streamer's face, voice, speaking style, and broadcast history. It communicates with users in real time, recommends content, and helps users experience streamers and content more fully.
The update focused on improving memory and response quality so conversations with users can flow more naturally. With the newly introduced long-term memory feature, it can remember more of the conversation than before and maintain context. As a result, users can continue conversations naturally based on past exchanges and deepen their understanding of streamers and content.
Answer quality also improved. SOOP said it advanced its in-house large video model (LVM), trained on streamer broadcast videos, and strengthened intent analysis to raise the accuracy and naturalness of responses. It also expanded content recommendation features. Beyond broadcast content, the system now recommends a wider range of SOOP service pages and news information.
Eligibility broadened as well. Previously, only hardcore fans and subscribers of streamers could use SOOPi, but with this update all users can try it for free. General users can converse for up to five turns, while hardcore fans and subscribers can continue using it as before.
