Lotte Innovate said on the 19th that it is supporting business innovation across group affiliates with the integrated artificial intelligence (AI) platform Aimember at the center.
It said Lotte Innovate is serving as the core execution organization for the group's AI strategy as Lotte Group makes AI a key management task and accelerates companywide AX.
Aimember is an AI platform optimized for in-house data and work environments, highlighting security and business continuity as strengths. Lotte Innovate plans to link external Generative AI services to be introduced to the group next month with Aimember to boost employees' AI agent capabilities.
To that end, the company is building a "hybrid AX execution system" that combines an internal specialized platform with external Generative AI, and plans to strengthen core business capabilities such as cloud, intelligent information technology outsourcing (ITO), and integrated security.
To enhance the group's AX execution and share innovation directions with affiliates and partners, Lotte Innovate held the 21st Lotte Group information strategy seminar for two days from on the 18th at Lotte Resort Buyeo under the theme "The real value created by AX (Core Value, Powered by AX)." About 160 people attended, including Lotte Group CIOs, CISOs, CMOs, and executives related to AI.
The seminar addressed key agenda items such as changes in work platforms in the era of AI agents, the cloud and software as a service (SaaS) ecosystem in the AI era, innovation in operations based on intelligent ITO, and strategies to respond to AI security threats.
Cases of AX adoption by major Lotte Group affiliates and clients were also shared. Lotte Department Store presented a case of AI-based customer experience innovation, Seven-Eleven Korea presented a case of building a mobile system for sales forecasting, Lotte Construction presented a case of AI multilingual translation at construction sites, Lotte Members introduced a case of improving the Lotte integrated ID process, and Lotte Chemical shared directions for AI utilization in the overseas petrochemical industry.
Lotte Innovate CEO Kim Gyeong-yeop said, "AX is an essential competitive condition that determines the survival and growth of corporations," adding, "Lotte Innovate will generate tangible business results at the point where stability and the pace of innovation are balanced, based on core technological capabilities such as AI, cloud, and security."
