LG CNS will pursue an all-around business partnership with Doosan that spans artificial intelligence (AI), robots, data centers and the cloud.
LG CNS said on the 18th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Doosan for "securing global competitiveness in new businesses such as AX, RX, data centers and the cloud." The plan is to combine LG CNS's AX (AI transformation) and RX (robot transformation) capabilities with Doosan's robot and Hydrogen Fuel Cell technologies to identify future growth businesses.
The two companies plan to form a business cooperation task force within one month and establish detailed operating plans.
In AX, the two companies will strengthen Doosan's agentic AI competitiveness based on LG CNS's enterprise agentic AI platform "AgenticWorks" and establish a related business roadmap. They also plan to review collaboration in RX. Using LG CNS's cloud and data center technologies, they will advance Doosan's IT infrastructure and explore introducing Hydrogen Fuel Cells into LG CNS's data center business.
The two companies will also pursue manufacturing AX by applying digital twin technology to maximize lifecycle efficiency of manufacturing equipment. They plan to cooperate in logistics using eco-friendly mobility as well.
Doosan President Yoo Seung-woo said, "By combining Doosan's advanced technologies accumulated in advanced materials and energy with LG CNS's AX capabilities, we will build a next-generation business model that leads the global market," adding, "This partnership that spans from data centers to robots and AI will maximize the future value of both companies."
LG CNS President Hyun Shin-Gyoon said, "From AI equipment prediction on the manufacturing floor to industrial innovation using robots, we will quickly produce cooperation results that lead to real commercialization."
