Preorders for "GTA 6," cited as this year's most anticipated release, will begin on the 25th.
Rockstar Games said on the 19th on its official website that preorders for GTA 6 will begin on the 25th. Preorders will be available through digital stores such as the PlayStation Store and the official Xbox store, as well as select retailers.
Along with this, the official cover art for GTA 6 was unveiled. Each installment in the GTA series has featured its own distinctive cover art. The new cover also captures the game's atmosphere with images of the protagonists, palm trees, and the sea. Animals symbolizing the city, such as flamingos and alligators, as well as racing cars and firearms, are arranged to convey GTA's signature vibe.
GTA 6 was originally slated for release in 2025, but after two delays it was rescheduled for Nov. 19 this year. With the official preorder schedule announced, there is hope it will launch as planned.
GTA 6 is the latest installment in the GTA series and one of the most anticipated titles of 2026. Set in "Vice City," a game world inspired by Miami, Florida, it follows the journey of protagonists Jason and Lucia.
