Kakao Games said on the 19th that it launched a total of 25 casual games through the newly established "Game Chip" in KakaoTalk.
"Game Chip" is an HTML5-based game platform that allows KakaoTalk users to enjoy a variety of games without installing a separate app. Users can easily and conveniently enjoy various games through the newly added "Game Chip" in the "More" tab in KakaoTalk.
The 25 games unveiled this time are serviced through the KakaoTalk "Game Chip" platform. Kakao Games is responsible for discovering games and managing the operation and development of the released games.
Six games using Kakao Friends intellectual property (IP) and 19 casual games across various genres are composed of casual titles that can be enjoyed without burden in a short time. Kakao Games said it "focused on a light play experience that takes advantage of the easy access based on KakaoTalk, such as competing with friends on rankings or sharing records."
Kakao Friends IP games offered this time include "Friends Bonbon," "Friends Tile Match," "Friends 3-Match Puzzle," "Jumping Friends," "Ryan's Dessert Sort," and "Friends Link Pop." Along with these, a variety of casual games such as "Whack-a-Mole," "Shooting Arrow," and "Spot the Difference" are being introduced.
Starting with the launch of these 25 games, Kakao Games plans to sequentially unveil more than 50 games within the year.
