Megazone, the parent of AI and cloud corporations MegazoneCloud, will work with Taiwan collaborative robot corporation Techman Robot on robot education and technology cooperation.
Megazone said on the 19th that on the 18th it signed a "business agreement for AI robot education, training, and technology cooperation" with Techman Robot at the Megazone Industry-Academia-Research Center in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi. The event was attended by Chair Lee Juwan of Megazone, Vice President Lee Jaeseok, and Techman Robot CEO Hou Chen, along with other key officials from both corporations.
Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly run hands-on training programs using Techman Robot's collaborative robots. Megazone will provide the training center and operating infrastructure, and Techman Robot will handle robot equipment and technical support. Starting with education cooperation in July, the two sides plan to expand the scope of cooperation into technology areas needed to implement physical AI, including developing automated processes and accumulating process data.
In particular, Megazone will link its physical AI platform "WISE" with Techman Robot's robotics technology to capture demand for AI-based robotic automation in industrial settings. WISE is a platform that helps robot arms, Autonomous Driving robots, and humanoids generate, modify, and learn movements suited to their work objectives.
Vice President Lee Jaeseok of Megazone said, "Robotics is a core foundation driving intelligence and autonomy across industries," adding, "We will cultivate field-ready, practical talent and expand the ecosystem for cooperation in robotics technology."
