Raonsecure subsidiary RaonMeta said on the 18th that it signed separate business agreements with Extended Reality (XR) content corporations JT System and Verygood.
With this agreement, RaonMeta will push to expand industry site-focused XR content on its AI and virtual convergence practice platform, Metademy. Through cooperation with the two companies, it will strengthen its lineup of content for education fields with high on-site demand, such as industrial safety, disaster safety, and job training.
JT System is a corporation that develops Metaverse-based practice content and linked device solutions, and it has strengths in training content that recreates high-risk, high-precision work environments. Verygood has been producing XR-based practice content featuring safety-accident scenarios in industrial sites such as construction, manufacturing, and chemicals, and recently has expanded its business into job training fields closely tied to daily life, including barista work and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
RaonMeta noted that the importance of repeated practice and safety training is growing in industrial sites. In-person industrial training makes it difficult to provide sufficient practice opportunities due to challenges such as securing equipment and space and safety issues, and training environments vary widely among educational institutions and corporations. In contrast, XR-based virtual practice reduces these constraints and enables repeated learning in the same environment, drawing attention as an alternative for industrial education.
Through this collaboration, learners will be able to repeatedly train in a virtual environment on responses to dangerous situations, equipment operation, and job procedures without visiting actual sites. Educational institutions and corporations are also expected to provide standardized practice environments while reducing the burden of space and equipment construction expense.
Yun Won-seok, head of the Metademy Business Division, said, "XR-based immersive training is becoming an essential education method to build on-site job competencies," adding, "RaonMeta will expand specialized content partnerships and further develop Metademy into a core platform for cultivating industrial talent."
