Wemade has begun rolling out a new title based on the Night Crows IP (intellectual property).
On the 12th, Wemade said it signed a publishing (distribution) agreement with Madengine for a new title based on the Night Crows IP (intellectual property). The two companies are working closely with the goal of a global one-build launch within the year.
The new title is a cross-platform massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) playable on both PC and mobile. Wemade noted, "We will present a further upgraded new title based on the competitiveness of the original work already proven in the global market and recreate the success of the Night Crows IP."
The original Night Crows, released in 2023, has been a hit, recording cumulative global revenue of 7.5 trillion won and 14 million cumulative users to date. In particular, it entered the top three for game revenue in app marketplaces across major Asian markets such as Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines, and surpassed a global peak concurrent user count of 450,000.
Wemade plans to simultaneously push for the China launch of the original Night Crows to expand in the global market.
