Krafton said on the 12th that the publishing title Project Zeta will hold its first global community test from the 25th to the 28th.
The test will be conducted for users around the world, including Korea. Users who want to participate can apply for the playtest on the Steam store page and will be able to join the game automatically as soon as the test begins.
Project Zeta is an online multiplayer game in the multi-team tactical arena genre developed by Nurbanana Studio and published by Krafton. Three players form one team, and a total of four teams compete simultaneously on a single battlefield; the team that returns the "Prism" object to the designated base first wins. Its multi-team structure, where several teams face off at the same time on one map, is what sets Project Zeta apart.
Combat is a third-person action format that uses each hero's unique skills. It also combines PvE progression elements with PvP combat in a single battlefield. The game features four classes and 14 heroes in total and supports controller play. It also plans to support cross-play between PC and consoles in the future.
Project Zeta is being developed through an "Open Development" approach that completes the game together with users. Krafton and Nurbanana Studio plan to collect play data and feedback from users in various regions through this test and reflect them in the future development process.
The game is under development with the goal of a global early access launch in the second half of this year.
Nurbanana Studio CEO Kim Nam-seok said, "Following Korea and China, we are excited to finally meet users in North America and Europe directly," and added, "We will complete Project Zeta together based on feedback from users in more regions."
