KT said it hosted "KT AX (AI transition) immersion day 2026 Gyeonggi" on the 10th at Pangyo Startup Zone in Seongnam with Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Databricks, and KT Cloud.
The event targeted startups in the information technology (IT), gaming, and media sectors based in the Gyeonggi region. It was held to share AX strategies and work innovation plans based on artificial intelligence (AI) and the cloud.
AWS introduced work innovation plans using AI agent technology that understands user requests and autonomously performs necessary tasks. It also presented changing development and operations methods in the AI era. Databricks shared how startups and growth companies can build data-driven decision-making systems. KT introduced work innovation cases using its own cloud service, Cloudflex. KT Cloud presented strategies for corporations to adopt and operate cloud services stably.
Lee Jin-hyeong, executive vice president and head of KT's AX Business Division, said, "Based on diverse AX know-how, we will provide practical technical information tailored to the region's industrial characteristics and the AX implementation stage of corporations, and actively support corporations' AI and cloud transitions in cooperation with partners."
