Samsung Electronics is strengthening its push into the robot vacuum market by rolling out a standard model of the lower-priced "Bespoke AI Steam."
Samsung Electronics said on the 11th it will introduce a standard model following the "Bespoke AI Steam Ultra" and "Bespoke AI Steam Plus," which debuted early this year. According to the company, the new product keeps the series' core features while lowering the price burden.
The new model comes with features such as the "Steam Clean Station," which washes mops at high temperature, sterilizes with steam, and dries with hot air; "Easy Pass Wheels," which can climb thresholds up to 45 mm; and the "Pop-out Combo," which enables edge-to-wall cleaning.
Security features were also reinforced. By applying Samsung Knox, Samsung Electronics enhanced personal data protection, and it received the "Diamond" certification, the highest grade for security reliability, from UL Solutions.
The list price ranges from 1.41 million won to 1.59 million won, depending on specifications. It is sold on major online channels including Samsung.com, Naver, and Gmarket.
During the "With the people, Samsung Electronics Thank-You Festival," which runs for four weeks from the 8th of this month, the company will give robot vacuum purchasers a digital Onnuri gift certificate worth 20% of the purchase price. It also prepared a benefit covering 12 months of subscription fees for AI Subscription Club users. Subscribing to the standard model on the All-in-One 2.0 plan can save up to 570,240 won.
According to Samsung Electronics, the Bespoke AI Steam series surpassed cumulative sales of 20,000 units on May 5, gaining traction in the domestic market. Recently, it was first selected as a robot vacuum sale option for an apartment complex of 1,875 units to be supplied in Bugok-dong, Uiwang, Gyeonggi, expanding into the business-to-business (B2B) market.
Kim Yong-hun, executive director for Korea at Samsung Electronics, said, "With the launch of a standard model that combines competitive pricing and performance, we will lead the popularization of K-robot vacuums and further strengthen our market competitiveness."
