Naver's startup investment arm D2SF said on the 10th it will make a new investment in AI security startup AIM Intelligence.
AIM Intelligence provides AI security solutions that cover the full cycle of attack, evaluation, and control. First, its Red Team solution proactively identifies security vulnerabilities to design and evaluate attack scenarios, and in the operation phase, its Guardrail solution controls risky AI behavior. Based on experience participating in AI model safety projects at global frontier research organizations such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Meta, the company is building practical, field-ready security frameworks tailored to on-site needs.
Naver D2SF said it decided to invest, noting that AI security technologies are becoming essential infrastructure as the landscape expands to Generative AI, agents, multimodal, and physical AI.
Yang Sang-hwan, head of Naver D2SF Center, said, "AIM Intelligence rapidly productized practical AI security solutions that cover the full cycle, and we are discussing collaboration with Naver's security organization to implement safe AI."
Yu Sang-yun, CEO of AIM Intelligence, said, "As AI moves beyond a work tool and into the operating mechanisms of payment platforms, vehicles, and robots, AI security is becoming an industrial infrastructure issue," adding, "This strategic funding round shows that the necessity of AI security is being addressed as a real business task in key industrial settings."
