LG CNS, following OpenAI, is joining hands with global artificial intelligence (AI) company Anthropic to speed up its push into the enterprise AX (AI transformation) market.
On the 9th, LG CNS said it signed a contract to introduce "Claude Enterprise" with Anthropic. The contract takes the form of an integrated agreement applicable to all affiliates across LG Group, and LG CNS is beginning to accelerate AX at the group level.
Anthropic's AI model Claude is rapidly spreading in the global market based on high-performance reasoning capabilities, strong security, and the ability to handle long documents. In particular, through features focused on improving work efficiency—such as building AI agents linked with internal systems, coding, and collaboration—it is being evaluated as a model that supports AX for corporations.
Through this contract, LG CNS plans to open up Claude for use by all employees across the company and promote AI-based productivity innovation in a wide range of tasks, including development. It will then expand its AX business by supporting the entire process from introduction to utilization of Claude for LG Group companies and external corporations.
In 2023, LG CNS made an equity investment in Anthropic through LG Technology Ventures and has continued a cooperative relationship, including offering Claude in a form optimized for domestic corporate clients. A company representative said, "We will continue to expand close collaboration with Anthropic and further advance AX services optimized for corporate environments."
Kim Tae-hun, head of the AI Cloud Business Unit (executive vice president) at LG CNS, said, "The collaboration with Anthropic is an important opportunity to put into full swing an AX innovation model optimized for the domestic corporate environment," adding, "By combining LG CNS's AX capabilities with Anthropic's AI technology, we will actively support AX innovation for domestic corporate clients."
Choi Ki-young, Anthropic's inaugural head of the Korea office (CEO), said, "We will actively cooperate so that Claude can establish itself as an AI platform that supports corporate productivity and work innovation."
