SOOP unveiled on the 9th the beta version of "SARSA 2.0," an artificial intelligence (AI) manager service that communicates with viewers and continues a stream on behalf of a streamer.
An AI that has learned a streamer's tone and broadcasting style continues real-time conversations and recommends content to fit the situation when the streamer is away. It also runs broadcasts tailored to that streamer by reflecting the topics and content preferences the streamer usually favors.
It also offers a variety of features, including support for broadcast settings, AI broadcast summaries, chat moderation, chat atmosphere analysis, and function recommendations.
The service is linked with the streamer-only broadcasting program "Freakshot Plus." During broadcast setup, streamers can choose whether to use the AI manager, and the AI manager takes over hosting if the streamer enables the feature directly or if an away status is detected for a certain period.
SOOP plans to first apply "SARSA 2.0" to select streamers, then expand its scope based on actual usage patterns and viewer responses. A company official said, "We will continue to advance the AI manager by reflecting feedback from streamers and users, and develop it so it can be utilized across diverse broadcasting environments."
