Jensen Huang, Nvidia founder and chief executive officer (CEO), who is visiting Korea, is expected to continue with weekend schedules that include an appearance on a domestic variety show and throwing the first pitch at a professional baseball game.
According to the broadcasting industry on the 6th, Huang will take part in a recording of tvN's talk show "You Quiz on the Block" that day.
Earlier, tvN said Huang would take part in a "You Quiz" recording during his stay in Korea.
This is the first time Huang has appeared on variety shows at home or abroad, and the segment filmed that day will air on the 10th of this month.
On the 7th, Huang will take the mound as the ceremonial first pitcher at a Doosan Bears home game at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul.
Huang will greet Korean baseball fans on the mound wearing a Doosan uniform emblazoned with No. 93, signifying Nvidia's founding year, 1993.
Park Jeong-won, chairman of Doosan Group and owner of the Doosan Bears, is expected to step into the batter's box wearing a uniform with No. 96, signifying Doosan's founding year, 1896.
On the same day, Huang is also said to be meeting with executives from major domestic game companies, including Kim Taek-jin, CEO of NCSOFT, to discuss cooperation on artificial intelligence (AI) game development, digital humans, and physical AI.
On the 8th, expected to be the last day of the visit, he is also coordinating plans to visit the Seoul National University AI Institute and Robotics laboratory, as well as the LG Group, Hyundai Motor Group, and Naver offices in Seongnam.
Also on the final afternoon, he will hold a closed-door roundtable at the Shilla Seoul with executives from major domestic AI startups, including Upstage and Nota, and robotics startups.
Huang is said to be leaving late on the 8th or on the morning of the 9th after completing all schedules in Korea.
