Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is reported to be planning to arrive in Korea on the afternoon of the 5th via Gimpo Airport.
According to the IT and aviation industries on the 4th, Huang is expected to arrive at the Gimpo Airport business terminal (SG BAC) at about 5 p.m. on the 5th aboard a chartered jet.
SGBAC is a dedicated facility for business aircraft (private jets) located about a 10-minute walk from the international terminal at Gimpo International Airport. It has an independent arrivals hall separate from the general terminal, and public access is not allowed.
Huang plans to travel to Korea after completing his schedule at the Nvidia developer conference (GTC) held in Taipei, Taiwan.
Immediately after arriving in Korea, Huang is expected to visit a samgyeopsal restaurant in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, and meet major business leaders including SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, and Naver Chairman Lee Hae-jin.
At this meeting, various cooperation plans are expected to be discussed, including High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), AI data centers, Autonomous Driving, robots, and physical AI.
On the 7th, he is reportedly set to meet NC CEO Kim Taek-jin. The specific agenda has not been disclosed, but cooperation in games and AI is anticipated.
On the same day, he is also scheduled to throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Doosan Bears vs. Kiwoom Heroes game at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul.
On the last day of the visit, the 8th, he is reported to be holding a closed-door roundtable at the Shilla Seoul with leaders of domestic AI and robotics startups such as Upstage and Nota. Also on the same day, Huang is said to be coordinating visits to the Seoul National University AI Institute and the Robotics Institute.
Huang is reported to be departing late on the 8th or on the morning of the 9th after completing all schedules in Korea.
