Netmarble will sell its headquarters building, G Tower, in Guro-gu, Seoul, for about 700 billion won.
Netmarble disclosed on the 4th that it will dispose of all the land and buildings of G Tower to NH Investment & Securities for 697.67082 billion won. The scheduled closing date is on the 12th. The company said the sale is for "securing liquidity through the sale of owned assets."
Completed in 2021, G Tower is a building with seven underground floors, 39 above-ground floors, and a total floor area of about 170,000 square meters. Netmarble's headquarters, Coway, Netmarble FNC, and Netmarble Neo are currently tenants. Netmarble has been pursuing the sale of G Tower since April last year to secure cash liquidity.
After completing the sale of G Tower, Netmarble will move to its new headquarters, now under construction in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, in the second quarter of 2028.
A Netmarble official said, "The sale of G Tower was pursued to improve the efficiency of owned asset operations and secure financial flexibility, and through this we intend to reorganize our asset portfolio."
