Artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure corporations Elice said on the 28th that it won the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education's "Gangwon AI-ro Generative AI teacher-support assistant (SaaS) adoption" project. The company began full service the same day.
Elice will link its institution-only Generative AI solution "AI Helpy Chat" with Gangwon AI-ro and provide services for about one year from May this year through the end of April next year to about 21,000 elementary, middle and high school teachers affiliated with the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education. The project was pursued to reduce the workload of teachers in the Gangwon region and improve the efficiency of class preparation.
AI Helpy Chat is an institution-only Generative AI solution that allows convenient use of various Generative AI models and tools on a single platform. Along with Elice's proprietary specialized models such as "Helpy Pro," optimized for administrative work and class preparation, and "Helpy Edu," specialized for guiding learning, it also provides the latest global AI models including GPT, Claude and Gemini.
Based on the modular AI data center "Elice AI PMDC," which has obtained Cloud Service Security Certification (CSAP), the company also strengthened security capabilities, reducing risks such as the leakage of teacher and student information to the outside.
Elice Chief Executive Kim Jae-won said, "Through winning this project, we have built an institution-only Generative AI teacher-support assistant tailored to the work methods and on-site needs of the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education," and added, "Based on on-site usage experience accumulated through linkage with Gangwon AI-ro, we will expand support so that other city and provincial offices of education can stably introduce customized AI solutions suited to each institution."
