Ji Jeong-yong, former KTcs chief, was appointed as the new CEO of KT Skylife.
On the 27th, KT Skylife said the company held a shareholders meeting at its headquarters in Mapo, Seoul, and approved the agenda to appoint CEO Ji Jeong-yong as an inside director. Born in 1968, Ji served at KT as head of the Busan Network Operations Division, head of network strategy at the Network Strategy Division, head of the Network Operations Division, and head of the South Jeolla–North Jeolla Regional Headquarters.
KT Skylife said, "CEO Ji Jeong-yong has experience in telecommunications technology and field sales as a leader in the network division and regional headquarters at KT, and is a professional manager who served as head of an affiliate (KT cs)."
At the shareholders meeting that day, the company also approved agendas to appoint Choi Se-jun, KT Customer Strategy Deputy Minister, and Kang Hyun-gu, KT Strategy Office group synergy lead, as other non-executive directors. The company said it was "to secure expertise in media and telecommunications and to strengthen synergy with the group."
