Korea's reading platform kt Millie Seojae (hereafter Millie's library) said on the 26th it released the audiobook "Kindness offered without any compensation," narrated by K-pop group ZEROBASEONE.
The audiobook was planned in collaboration with KT Genie Music, and the two companies said they will continue to present audiobook content in which various artists read literary works. By using artists' voices as a medium, the aim is to offer music fans a new touchpoint to meet books and to provide readers with a deeper reading experience enhanced by music.
"Kindness offered without any compensation" is an essay by writer Ha Tae-wan, author of the bestseller "Every moment was you." The audiobook includes a summary of the essay along with members' commentary on ZEROBASEONE's sixth mini album "Ascend-."
Lee Seong-ho, Deputy Minister of Millie's library's Reading Party, said, "We will continue to work closely with group content affiliates, including Genie Music, to expand the potential use of book intellectual property (IP) and provide a differentiated reading experience."
