EMRO said on the 22nd that it participated in the global supply chain event "Gartner Supply Chain Symposium/Xpo" and unveiled new purchasing innovation cases based on agentic artificial intelligence (AI).
Held back-to-back in Orlando, United States (May 4–6), and Barcelona, Spain (May 18–20), the event drew about 5,000 supply chain management executives from major corporations around the world and industry officials, along with more than 180 related solution companies. EMRO attended the event for the third consecutive year with Samsung SDS.
This year, EMRO presented various agentic AI features of its supply chain management (SRM) software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution "Caidentia," which automates the end-to-end direct procurement process from product design to raw material sourcing and settlement, under the theme "accelerating direct procurement processes using AI technology," along with global implementation cases.
Based on the results from this event, EMRO plans to strengthen its local sales competitiveness and accelerate its push into overseas markets. An EMRO official said, "According to Gartner, the agentic AI-based supply chain management software market is expected to grow rapidly to $53 billion (about 78 trillion won) by 2030," adding, "We will translate the strong interest and demand from local corporate customers confirmed through this event into actual references to strengthen our leadership in the global market."
