Samjeomsam let users pay the tax refund service fee with points collected through app-tech activities.
Jobis&Villains Corp., which operates the tax refund platform Samjeomsam, said on the 21st that it has introduced a points payment feature for the simple filing (refund) service fee.
Users can collect points by participating in various activities such as games, quizzes, and step counters. Accumulated points are converted at 1 won per point and can be applied as an immediate deduction when paying the simple filing fee.
In particular, starting with this year's regular comprehensive income tax filing, a post-payment method will be applied in which the service fee is paid after receiving the refund, allowing users to collect points through app-tech and use them for payment.
Jobis&Villains Corp. also expanded payment options by adding credit and debit card payments in addition to the existing bank transfer.
A Jobis&Villains Corp. official said, "With the introduction of points payment, the app-tech activities that users engage in daily have formed a virtuous cycle that leads to tax expense savings," and added, "We will continue to improve not only support for points and card payments but also even the small burdens and inconveniences customers feel."
