Kolon Benit is accelerating the expansion of its manufacturing artificial intelligence transition (AX) and digital transformation (DX) businesses.
Kolon Benit said on the 19th that it has launched a Manufacturing DX Consulting Team to support manufacturing clients' digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) transition. The Manufacturing DX Consulting Team is a dedicated unit that diagnoses problems on the factory floor and ties them to system buildouts and the enhancement of operations.
With this new unit, Kolon Benit is expanding its business scope from its existing focus on implementation and operations to the consulting stage. It is also strengthening a full life cycle business framework for manufacturing DX and AX that supports everything from defining problems on the factory floor to execution.
The newly established dedicated team will comprehensively analyze clients' production processes, equipment operations, quality control, and energy use environments to identify improvement tasks. It will then support the creation of tangible results on the factory floor by linking the design of data collection and analysis frameworks, formulation of process improvement plans, system implementation, and stabilization of operations. A company official said, "Rather than stopping at a simple solution rollout or a one-off consulting engagement, we design improvement directions based on on-site data and carry them through application and enhancement."
Executive Director Jeong Sang-seop of Kolon Benit said, "The Manufacturing DX Consulting Team is a dedicated organization to diagnose issues on the factory floor based on data and convert them into actionable improvement tasks," adding, "We will not stop at diagnosis and planning but will link through to implementation and operational enhancement so clients can feel the effects of manufacturing DX and AX transitions on site."
