Lotte Innovate, which is strengthening its physical artificial intelligence (AI) business, said on the 18th that it has secured a series of international AI standard certifications.
Lotte Innovate received ISO/IEC 25058, an international standard that verifies the quality and reliability of AI systems, in Feb., and has now additionally obtained ISO/IEC 42001, the international standard for AI management systems. The certification is an international standard in which the Joint Technical Committee (JTC) of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) defines requirements for an Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS). The scope of certification covers AI development and operations organizations and the services produced and operated by those organizations.
A Lotte Innovate official said, "We are now able to provide customers with more trusted AI solutions by backing our outstanding AI technology with a globally validated management framework," and added, "Along with advancing AI technology, we will continue to strengthen a responsible AI operating system."
Lotte Innovate is showcasing physical AI technologies that interact with physical environments, including its integrated AI platform "Aimmeber" and Humanoid Robot. The company aims to commercialize RaaS (Robot as a Service) based on general-purpose physical AI, leveraging the AI capabilities accumulated through "Aimmeber."
