SK hynix ranked No. 1 on JobPlanet's list of "best large corporations to work for," earning the highest marks in key categories including pay and benefits and chief executive officer (CEO) approval.
JobPlanet, operated by HR tech platform Worksphere, on the 18th announced the "top 10 large corporations to work for," based on employee review data accumulated over the past year. The rankings were calculated by adding scores across five categories—work-life balance, promotion opportunities, pay and benefits, in-house culture, and CEO approval—using reviews posted from April last year through April this year by current and former employees of Korea's large corporations.
The overall No. 1 was SK hynix, with a total score of 20.92. SK hynix took first place in as many as four categories: pay and benefits (4.70), in-house culture (4.18), CEO approval (4.05), and promotion opportunities (4.02). With labor and management reaching agreement on the bonus structure amid record-high results, employee satisfaction with the compensation system and communication methods rose in tandem, according to reviews.
GS Caltex scored 20.3 points to take second place. It posted the highest score (4.73) in the work-life balance category. Employees expressed high satisfaction with the work environment and welfare aimed at stabilizing daily life, saying "annual leave is easy to use" and "welfare and rewards are excellent."
Hyundai Motor ranked third (19.5 points). It received solid marks across key categories such as work-life balance (4.21) and pay and benefits (4.34), and CEO approval also rose from a year earlier. It was followed by △ POSCO Holdings △ NongHyup Bank △ Samsung Electronics △ KT △ Lotte Chemical △ LG Electronics △ Hanwha. Meanwhile, JobPlanet is gradually linking data with Worksphere Group services such as JOBKOREA and Albamon. It plans to strengthen user experience and the competitiveness of its artificial intelligence (AI) hiring solutions by combining corporation review and rating information with recruiting and matching data.
A JobPlanet official said, "As job seekers' criteria for career decisions diversify, the importance of information based on actual employee experiences is growing," and added, "We will continue to provide highly reliable HR information to both job seekers and corporations based on accumulated review data."
