LG Uplus said on the 15th it will exclusively launch the budget smartphone "Galaxy Buddy5," priced in the 500,000 won range.
Galaxy Buddy5 is the fifth model in the Galaxy Buddy series of LG Uplus-exclusive 5G smartphones first introduced in 2021. Based on the Galaxy A17 5G model, it was developed with a focus on core functions needed for everyday use.
The factory price is 528,000 won. Key specifications are: ▲ 169.1 mm (6.7-inch) FHD+ Super AMOLED display ▲ 50-megapixel high-resolution rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilization) ▲ 13-megapixel front camera ▲ 5,000 mAh high-capacity battery ▲ microSD slot (up to 2 TB) ▲ IP54-rated water and dust resistance. It comes in three colors: black, blue and gray.
LG Uplus said, "The Galaxy Buddy series continues to be popular as a first smartphone for children, as a handset for parents, and as a second phone."
