KT Millie's library posted double-digit revenue growth on the back of content expansion.
Millie's library said on the 14th that first-quarter revenue came to 23.9 billion won, up 19.6% from a year earlier.
Operating profit was 3.9 billion won, up 4.9% from a year earlier. Since turning to an operating profit in the second quarter of 2022, it has posted profits for 16 consecutive quarters through the first quarter of this year.
The company said it continuously attracted new subscribers and retained existing ones through content such as e-books, webtoons, and web novels. Recently, it has been expanding into intellectual property (IP) businesses such as original webtoons and web novels.
Millie's library said it plans to strengthen its service capabilities based on artificial intelligence transformation (AX) to enhance user experience and improve service operation efficiency.
