KT renewed the cloud service security certification (CSAP) for A'cen, its cloud-based subscription artificial intelligence contact center (AICC) solution, and will continue to target the public market.
KT said on the 14th that it renewed A'cen's CSAP certification and plans to provide stable AI consultation services to national and public institutions through 2031. CSAP is the cloud service security certification program overseen by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA). It certifies whether security requirements are met so national and public institutions can safely use private cloud services.
KT first obtained A'cen's SaaS standard-grade certification in Apr. 2021 and extended the certification validity by five years after a renewal review this year. The company said the renewal reconfirmed the security and reliability needed to provide cloud-based AICC services to public institutions.
KT currently provides the A'cen AI voice bot to some 60 public and administrative institutions, including the National Tax Service, Statistics Korea, and Gwangju Metropolitan City Hall, based on its CSAP certification. Key use cases include FAQ guidance and handling after-hours and civil service inquiries. It also supplies AICC solutions to more than 400 corporations, including over 30 major domestic financial companies.
In the public institutional sector, where inquiry volumes are high and personal and administrative data are handled, security certification is considered a key condition for service adoption. As the use of Generative AI and voice bots spreads, demand is growing to automate repetitive consultations and reduce the workload of counseling staff.
Executive Director Lee Jin-hyung, head of KT's AX Business Division, said, "The CSAP renewal reconfirms the security and stability of KT's AICC solution," adding, "We will focus on advancing related technologies so public institutions can confidently adopt KT's AI consultation services."
