Xiaomi Korea, the Korean subsidiary of Xiaomi, said on the 13th that it appointed Summer Peng as its new president.
Xiaomi described the new president, Summer Peng, as a global business leader with extensive experience in regional business management, channel operations, and global e-commerce, and a key figure who has driven business growth across Xiaomi's various markets.
Before joining Xiaomi Korea, Peng oversaw Xiaomi's Hong Kong and Macau offices, leading the expansion of the company's market share, the optimization of multi-channel retail operations, and the strengthening of premium brand positioning. She also successfully ran the cross-border e-commerce business, boosting competitiveness in global markets.
Prior to joining Xiaomi, she worked at global IT corporations such as HUAWEI, Skyworth, and OPPO, handling channel sales, product operations, and the development of consumer-centric strategies.
The personnel move was carried out as part of a regular reshuffle to respond to a rapidly changing global business environment and further advance business operations in the Korean market. Through this leadership reinforcement, Xiaomi Korea plans to further strengthen product competitiveness and channel operation capabilities and continue to expand cooperation with domestic consumers and partners.
