LG Electronics is targeting the virtual driving simulation market by leveraging its OLED picture-quality technology.
LG Electronics said on the 11th that it has equipped the expert monitor "LG OLED Pro" on the "Hyundai N Racing Simulator," developed to deliver Hyundai Motor's high-performance N brand experience.

The supplied product is a high-end monitor mainly used by video professionals when producing content, with strengths that include the unique infinite contrast ratio and precise color reproduction of OLED, whose pixels emit their own light. In particular, it renders the dynamic driving visuals—core to a racing simulator—quickly and without afterimages, giving users an immersive feeling as if they are running on a real circuit.
The technical completeness is also high. It is equipped with an interface that transmits large-capacity, high-quality video without loss, and maintains uniform screen brightness and color through optimized calibration technology. Its technology, proven in broadcast and film production sites, has thus demonstrated its value in the new realm of virtual driving simulators.
LG Electronics plans to use this collaboration with Hyundai Motor to prove the versatility of OLED signage and continue proposing customized display solutions optimized for various industries. Beyond displays that simply deliver information, the strategy is to provide visual experiences tailored to specific environments and solidify leadership in the premium market.
Baek Gi-moon, executive vice president of the Business Solutions (BS) Division at LG Electronics, said, "OLED monitors with overwhelming picture quality will be the best partner across a wide range of fields, from professional content production to virtual racing," adding, "We will continue to introduce innovative products that give customers differentiated experiences."
