SK Telecom targets full-year rebound above pre-hacking levels

Park Jong-seok, SK Telecom chief financial officer (CFO), said on the 7th during the 2026 first-quarter earnings conference call, "First-quarter consolidation operating profit was 537.6 billion won, escaping the downward trend that followed the breach incident and returning close to the level before the incident," and "We are aiming to improve full-year results from the current level."

Park, the CFO, added, "Based on the recovery of profitability in the telecommunications business, we will grow our AI data center–focused growth businesses and continue to improve productivity," and "We will work to ensure this year's results exceed the level before the incident."
