HANCOM subsidiary Thinkfree said on the 4th it will take part in the 9th AI EXPO KOREA 2026, to be held May 6-8 at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
At this exhibition, Thinkfree plans to showcase a work environment centered on Thinkfree Office that combines AI-based web office technology. The technology lets AI automatically write documents and supports instantly converting data and outputs generated by corporations' AI into document form for editing.
Thinkfree Office is an on-premises online office solution compatible with major global document formats, including Microsoft Office. It connects with various AI models and supports integrating document creation, editing, and collaboration functions from corporations' internal systems to external AI services.
It also supports an on-premises deployment method installed directly on corporations' internal servers, blocking the possibility of external leakage of in-house confidential documents and user data and of AI training use. It provides simultaneous editing by multiple users and real-time chat, and the user interface (UI) can be freely adjusted to customer needs.
Along with this, it will also unveil the AI agent "Refinder." Refinder integrates corporations' data dispersed across multiple clouds to support RAG-based search and task automation. In messengers such as Slack or Google Chat, users can manage schedules, write documents, and track issues with natural language commands. It will also exhibit Thinkfree Drive, which combines an online office with cloud storage to support storing, sharing, and managing documents in a secure environment, all in one place.
Thinkfree CEO Kim Du-young said, "In many cases, utilization is limited due to a disconnect between AI infrastructure and the document work environment," adding, "Through the AI web office, we will raise work efficiency by linking customers' accumulated insights naturally to documents."
