LG Innotek President Moon Hyuk-soo met with Applied Intuition Chief Executive Officer (CEO and co-founder) Qasar Younis to discuss cooperation plans in physical artificial intelligence (AI).
According to LG Innotek on the 30th, Moon and Younis met on the 29th at LG Innotek's headquarters in Magok, Gangseo District, Seoul. The meeting was arranged as a follow-up discussion to the strategic cooperation in Autonomous Driving the two companies released in March. LG Innotek Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Min Jon and Applied Intuition Head of Automotive Will Lin, among other executives from both companies, also joined the discussion.
Executives from both companies reviewed the status of technology cooperation in Autonomous Driving, as well as joint responses and promotion plans for key clients. They also discussed cooperation plans in physical AI for robots and drones. They plan to generate business results by leveraging LG Innotek's sensing solution capabilities and Applied Intuition's experience building software for physical AI across industries such as defense, construction, and agriculture.
