Jobis&Villains Corp., which operates the tax platform "Samjeomsam," said on the 30th it will run "reassuring refund compensation program season 3," an overhauled compensation system ahead of the regular comprehensive income tax filing period in May.
The reassuring refund compensation program is a customer protection system in which Samjeomsam takes responsibility and compensates when the actual refund amount for customers using the Samjeomsam easy filing (refund) service differs from the pre-notified estimated refund amount, or when a refund turns into a payment due.
In season 3, Samjeomsam expanded the compensation limit to the highest level in the industry. A company official said, "Customers who used the service on Samjeomsam can receive compensation for filings up to a maximum of 2 million won, and there is no limit on the number of compensation applications, eliminating the hassle of having to submit them all at once."
Earlier, Samjeomsam also introduced a "post-payment system" in which the service fee is paid after actually receiving the refund. The final payment amount is set to match the actual refund. If the refund amount is reduced, the fee is adjusted by the difference, and if there is no refund, no fee is charged.
Kim Beomseop, CEO of Jobis&Villains Corp., said, "We introduced the expansion of the reassuring refund compensation program limit and the post-payment system so customers can use the service with peace of mind, without the burden of prepayment or worries about the outcome."
