Devsisters said on the 29th that it successfully wrapped up the offline pop-up store "New York with Cookie Run," held at the Line Friends Store in Times Square, New York, from the 17th to the 26th for 10 days.
According to the company, the pop-up drew more than 40,000 visitors and recorded about $700,000 (about 1 billion won) in local sales. This is the highest sales performance among Cookie Run offline pop-up stores held overseas.
About 130 kinds of character goods were displayed on site. Among them, the "Cookie Run: Kingdom Beast Cookie Collectible Figure" and the "Shadowmilk Cookie and Pure Vanilla Cookie Plush Package" ranked first and second in sales. The "Statue of Liberty Brave Cookie" plush keyring, unveiled locally for the first time with a New York theme, was also popular.
The pop-up store was opened in response to overseas fans' interest in Cookie Run character goods and requests for offline sales.
Devsisters plans to use this event as a springboard to accelerate the global expansion of its character goods business. It will expand the overseas shipping regions for the Cookie Run Store and open an official Amazon store to strengthen global distribution channels.
In May, the company plans to participate in the "Licensing Expo" in Las Vegas to pursue local partnerships related to character goods.
