Tmap Mobility said on the 29th that it will offer a feature that lets users check information on "Good Gas Stations."
The feature was released in line with the "Good Gas Station Campaign," organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources and private consumer groups.
Good Gas Stations are selected every two weeks by the Energy and Oil Market Monitoring Team for contributing to stabilizing domestic petroleum product prices during a specific period.
The list of Good Gas Stations can be checked by entering "gas station" or "Good Gas Station" in the Tmap search bar.
On the map screen, they are marked with a "Good" marker, and the phrase "[Good]" is added in front of the station name. In the search results list, they are distinguished with an icon-style tag, and the "Good Gas Station" badge and logo are also provided on the gas station's detail page.
A Tmap Mobility official said, "We aimed to quickly provide information that is practically helpful to users," adding, "We plan to continue expanding various features that enhance driver convenience."
