Samsung Electro-Mechanics said on the 28th that it hosted the "2026 win-win cooperation day (DAY)" at the Ramada Plaza Suwon Hotel, inviting key partner officials. On the day, Samsung Electro-Mechanics presented awards to five partners that achieved outstanding results through innovation activities across four areas last year—productivity, technology development, quality, and special.
The event was prepared to reinforce the commitment to shared growth between Samsung Electro-Mechanics and its partners based on solid trust, and to encourage outstanding partners that achieved innovative results over the past year. About 200 officials attended, including Samsung Electro-Mechanics President Chang Duck-hyun, Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership Chairperson Lee Dal-gon, and Cooperative Council Chairperson Kwon Hyuk-seok (MK Chem & Tech CEO).
Woosung SE, which supplies MLCC equipment, won the excellence award in the productivity innovation institutional sector for shortening equipment manufacturing and setup timelines. Jeongjin Nextech, which supplies related parts for camera modules, was recognized for adopting a new process, and Abico Tech, which performs package substrate lamination, was recognized for improving lamination quality; each won the excellence award in the quality innovation institutional sector.
Cosmo AM&T, which supplies films for MLCCs, won the excellence award in the technology development institutional sector for improving Production yield through developing films for AI servers, and Resonac, which supplies raw materials for package substrates, won the special award for its strategic securing and supply of CCL and more.
That day, Samsung Electro-Mechanics introduced win-win cooperation support programs aimed at substantially enhancing partners' competitiveness, including funding support, ESG management consulting, technology protection, and specialized training. Starting this year, Samsung Electro-Mechanics will open its patents to partners to help them secure practical product and technology competitiveness.
In particular, this year's event drew attention by hosting, for the first time, an exhibition of partners' products and technologies. The exhibition was designed as a venue for technology exchange to share the latest technology trends among partners and explore opportunities for technological collaboration. Samsung Electro-Mechanics plans to actively support the development of domestic and overseas sales channels so the outstanding technologies on display can lead to actual commercialization.
Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership Chairperson Lee Dal-gon said, "To overcome an uncertain business environment, it is important to produce the best products through cooperation between large companies and small and midsize enterprises," and added, "We will continue to support sustained shared growth based on close cooperation going forward."
Samsung Electro-Mechanics conducts transactions with about 900 partners in Korea and abroad, ranging from corporations with annual sales in the 1 billion won range to those in the 10 trillion won range. Among them, 40 major domestic parts companies are registered as members of the Cooperative Council (Hyupbuhoe). The council was formed in 1986 and has a history of nearly 40 years.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electro-Mechanics signed an "agreement to strengthen the partner company ecosystem" last year with the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership and its partners, committing about 200 billion won in support over three years from 2025 to 2027. Samsung Electro-Mechanics operates support programs such as funding support including a shared growth fund, on-site improvements in productivity enhancement and quality innovation, and tailored competency building by technical specialty and role level, and its shared growth achievements have been recognized with the highest rating in the Shared Growth Index evaluation for two consecutive years.
