Cybersecurity corporations Genians said on the 27th that it ranked No. 1 in market share for seven straight years in the public procurement market for EDR (endpoint detection and response).
Based on the Public Procurement Service's Nara Market, Genians' EDR market share last year was tallied at 46%. Genians' EDR solution has been adopted by central government ministries, local governments, the financial sector, and large manufacturers.
Genians' EDR solution is a security technology that continuously inspects behaviors occurring at endpoints to detect, analyze, and respond to threats. Genians said it can identify hacking attempts and respond, and that it can review all activities even after a hacking incident.
Chief Executive Lee Dong-beom of Genians said, "In an era where AI autonomously designs attack scenarios, as with Anthropic's Mythos, we must reexamine our defense posture on the premise that it is a 'reality that can strike at any time,'" and added, "Genians will integrate an AI-based automated response system into its EDR capabilities to identify sophisticated attacks in real time and block them immediately, providing the most advanced endpoint security platform."
