"Catch! Teenieping"-themed commemorative stamps and postcards will be released.
The Ministry of Science and ICT's Korea Post said on the 27th that it will sell 700,000 commemorative stamps and 10,000 postcard sets featuring the characters and universe of SAMG's "Princess Catch! Teenieping" starting on the 4th of next month.
The commemorative stamps feature Heartsping, the fairy of love representing the Teenieping series; "Nabiping," who is understanding and kind; "Sharlping," the leader of Princess Teenieping; "Longlongping," who uses a magic comb; "Silkping," adventurous; and "Areumping," pure and cheerful. They also vividly depict Teenieping characters with distinct charms, including the elegant and dignified "Sappunping," the lively and confident "Pponiping," "Shushuping," who uses a magic music box, and the slyly charming "Kkaegulping."
The "Catch! Teenieping" series is a South Korean animation that follows Princess Romi of the Emotion Kingdom as she catches the "Teenieping" fairies of the heart that have scattered on Earth. Since its first broadcast in 2020, it has won broad affection for its appealing characters and has gained major popularity overseas. In particular, the colorful Teeniepings that debut each season, each with unique personalities and cute appeal, have sparked a "Teenieping syndrome."
Park In-hwan, head of Korea Post, said, "The Teenieping commemorative stamps will deliver dreams and hope to our children during Family Month," adding, "We hope the warm world and joyful stories conveyed by Teenieping will be remembered by many for a long time."
The commemorative stamps and postcards can be purchased by visiting a nearby main post office or through the Internet Post Office.
