Lotte Innovate said on the 27th that it won the IT project to establish a Vietnam unit for IBK Industrial Bank of Korea.
The project is based on the IBK global system and covers everything from introducing IT infrastructure, software, and security solutions to designing and building a data center (DC) and disaster recovery (DR) system. Lotte Innovate plans to join hands with global IT service corporations DXC Technology to design a standard architecture that reflects local regulations and financial security requirements.
It also plans to carry out phased builds and integration testing through to a stable transition to operations.
A company official said, "From the initial buildout stage, we will apply a modular and automated operations system to secure availability and scalability at the same time, establishing a framework that can flexibly respond to future service expansion and digital transformation demand."
Lotte Innovate aims to use this contract win to strengthen its references in finance and, on that basis, expand its business scope into major industries such as retail and manufacturing. Over the mid to long term, it plans to make Vietnam a base for its Southeast Asia operations, advance its digital transformation (DX) business, and continue to expand its global business.
The head of Lotte Innovate's Vietnam unit said, "We will actively support the successful launch and sustained growth of IBK Industrial Bank of Korea's Vietnam unit through digital infrastructure with top-tier security and stability."
