Motorola Korea has released the midrange smartphone "Moto g77" in Korea priced in the 390,000-won range. With a 108-megapixel camera, a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, and military-standard durability, it boosts price-to-performance.
The Moto g77 comes with a 108-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 32-megapixel front camera. The main sensor improves low-light shooting and supports 3x lossless zoom for clear shots of distant subjects. Convenience features such as Moto AI-based portrait mode, auto smile capture, and gesture selfie are also included.
The screen features a 6.8-inch extreme AMOLED display. Compared with the transfer generation, resolution and brightness are higher, and the 120Hz refresh rate enables smooth content viewing and screen transitions. It also supports Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res certified sound.
Durability is also emphasized. The Moto g77 has obtained the Ministry of National Defense military standard certification MIL-STD-810H, and features Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and an IP64 dust- and water-resistant design. The back uses a vegan leather finish, and the colors are Pantone Black Olive and Pantone Shaded Spruce.
Performance starts with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. RAM can be virtually expanded to up to 24GB, and storage can be increased to up to 2TB with a microSD card. The battery is 5,200mAh and supports 30W fast charging.
The operating system is Android 16. It supports the Google Gemini-based AI assistant, Circle to Search, and the ThinkShield-based Moto Secure app. The processor is confirmed as the MediaTek Dimensity 6400. Built on a 6nm process, the octa-core chip targets 5G use and power efficiency.
The Moto g77 goes on sale today at KT stores nationwide and on KT.com. The official retail price is 396,000 won. Motorola is also unveiling the Moto Watch, a smartwatch developed in collaboration with Polar. The Moto Watch will be released on the 30th with a retail price of 189,000 won.
