Dolby Laboratories said on the 24th that it will unveil for the first time the BMW New 7 Series equipped with Dolby's next-generation immersive audio technology, Dolby Atmos, at the 2026 Beijing International Motor Show, which will be held in Beijing, China, from the 24th to May 3.
The two companies are introducing Dolby Atmos to the BMW 7 Series and plan to expand it to other models, including the BMW iX3 long wheelbase.
The BMW New 7 Series implements Dolby Atmos through the optional Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System. The system features up to 36 high-performance speakers and 1,965 watts of output. It combines diamond-dome tweeters, headrest speakers and roof-mounted 3D channels.
During the exhibition, the BMW New 7 Series with Dolby Atmos and the BMW iX3 long wheelbase model will be displayed as key models.
Visitors can experience BMW vehicles with Dolby Atmos firsthand at the BMW booth.
