Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics will participate side by side in the 2026 World IT Show, held at Coex in Samseong-dong, Seoul, for three days starting on the 22nd, to exhibit a range of products with artificial intelligence (AI) features.
Samsung Electronics will showcase next-generation displays such as Micro RGB and Spatial Signage, along with the latest mobile products including the Galaxy S26 series, Galaxy Buds 4 series, and Galaxy XR. LG Electronics has created an 870-square-meter exhibition hall under the theme of Dear Home. It will present the vision of an AI home that proposes and builds a more convenient and comfortable daily life for customers through AI.
◇ Samsung Electronics spotlights display and smartphone technologies
Samsung Electronics installed Spatial Signage, a glasses-free 3D display, at the entrance to the exhibition hall. Visitors can receive guidance on products and experience programs in each zone through the AI Fancurator displayed on Spatial Signage.
Spatial Signage is a next-generation display that delivers a 3D sense of space without 3D-only glasses or a separate hologram box. Samsung Electronics' proprietary 3D Plate technology provides a sense of depth, as if there were another space inside the screen, despite its slim thickness.
Micro RGB is also available to try. Micro RGB is a TV that independently and precisely controls colors based on ultra-fine red, green, and blue (RGB) elements.
Samsung Electronics is also exhibiting the Galaxy S26 series. It has prepared a space to experience the upgraded camera performance and Galaxy AI. Visitors can photograph subjects using the Galaxy S26 Ultra's 200-megapixel wide-angle camera and 10x zoom telephoto camera. They can also try the Horizon Lock Super Steady feature, which keeps the horizon level and enables shake-free video even during intense movement. Using the Photo Assist feature, they can generate animal characters with natural language and text, then send the results to the LED wall in the exhibition zone to view the moving characters.
There will also be a Galaxy AI live show. The Creative Show will introduce creative and editing features such as Photo Assist, Super Steady, and Creative Studio. There will also be a Privacy Show highlighting security features such as Call Screening and Privacy Display.
There is also a space to experience the Galaxy Buds 4 series and Galaxy XR. A Cross-Platform Zone will let visitors enjoy three popular games on smartphones, tablets, PCs, TVs, and monitors.
The new AI portable projector The Freestyle+ and the AI platform Vision AI Companion will also debut. The Freestyle+ delivers an optimized screen even on non-flat surfaces, such as corners or curved curtains. Vision AI Companion provides real-time answers and information to users watching TV, based on AI technology.
Jang So-yeon, executive vice president and head of Korea at Samsung Electronics, said, "This exhibition is designed to let visitors experience, all in one place, products that concentrate Samsung Electronics' innovative technologies from displays to mobile."
◇ LG Electronics spotlights AI home products
LG Electronics installed a massive hanging art object at the entrance to the exhibition: 25 ultra-slim, ultra-flush wireless wallpaper TVs, LG Signature OLED W, suspended from the ceiling. The 0.9-centimeter-thick TVs come together as a single piece of media art.
Inside the exhibition hall are: the AI Home, where visitors can experience a more convenient and cozy life with the AI home hub ThinQ On, LG AI appliances, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices; the Subscription Square, which introduces a subscription care solution that keeps appliances clean and in top condition at all times; the Tech Lounge, which emphasizes the core component technologies of AI appliances; and spaces to experience TVs, PCs, monitors, and commercial displays.
At the AI Home booth, three lifestyle spaces—Home Office, Smart Kitchen, and OLED Theater—showcase how AI naturally blends into everyday life at home.
At the center of the exhibition, LG prepared the Subscription Square to intuitively show the benefits of appliance subscriptions. It introduces a care service in which experts provide regular maintenance, from replacing consumables to internal cleaning, for key products such as refrigerators, WashTowers, air conditioners, Stylers, dishwashers, HydroTowers, vacuum cleaners, and MyCups.
In the Tech Lounge, LG will present AI CoreTech, which enhances product performance and ease of use, along with AI-based air care and TV picture-quality technologies. Through a transparent disassembled display of the all-in-one washer-dryer WashCombo, visitors can directly see the AI DD motor and dual inverter heat pump structure and observe how AI analyzes fabric type, weight, and soil level to perform customized washing and drying.
In the Media Gallery, visitors can see the LG UltraGear Evo gaming monitor with AI solutions; the LG CineBeam Cube, which delivers 4K picture quality and up to a 120-inch screen with an ultra-compact design; and the ultra-low-power LG ePaper Display, which maintains the screen without power supply.
