SK Telecom said on the 21st that it will take part in the country's largest ICT exhibition, the "2026 World IT Show (WIS)," held at COEX in Seoul for three days from the 22nd, to showcase its "full-stack AI" capabilities spanning everything from artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure to models and services.
Under the concept of "All about AI," SK Telecom will set up a large pavilion covering 864㎡ and unveil, in one place, core technologies and services that will support the AI era.
The pavilion consists of five zones: network AI, AI DC solutions, AI models, agent AI, and physical AI. The network AI zone will feature next-generation communication technologies such as AI RAN and AI agents for networks, while the AI DC solutions zone will introduce the K-Sovereign GPUaaS "Haein," an AI DC infrastructure manager, and an AI inference factory. Through this, SK Telecom plans to go beyond a simple carrier and present a Korea-style AI infrastructure standard.
In the model area, SK Telecom will highlight its large language model (LLM) A.X along with the nation's first 500B-class ultra-large AI model, "A.X K1." In the agent AI zone, where visitors can experience everyday services such as calling, work, and vehicles, adot Phone, adot Note, and adot Auto will be on display, and in the physical AI zone, it will show AI moving beyond virtual-space learning to acting in the real world through a Digital Twin and a robot training platform. Separate experience spaces, "Vision Cinema" and "Full-stack Yard," will also be operated.
This year's World IT Show will be held at COEX from the 22nd to the 24th and is regarded as Korea's leading exhibition that concentrates the latest ICT trends in AI, Robotics, and Digital Healthcare. Last year's event drew 450 companies from 17 countries with 1,300 booths and attracted 47,539 visitors.
Given that A.X K1, which SK Telecom is putting forward at this exhibition, also drew interest by surpassing 8,800 downloads just four days after its technical report was released following its initial unveiling in December last year, there is a view that this exhibition will serve as a stage to imprint SK Telecom's "sovereign AI" competitiveness externally.
